Stage Release: Azure Sidewalk (8/7/2020)

After almost an entire year of not releasing anything (I’m REALLY sorry about that. Life got in the way…), I FINALLY bring to you the next stage: Azure Sidewalk!

This is a joint collaboration with Don Vecta of Withering Surface Entertainment, as this is our take on what “The Super Threc” would look like visually as a stage in Streets of Rage. Considering this year makes 29 years of Beat’em Up glory, this was the right time to have this done.

As always, you can find the stages in the menu above.

Top Menu > Winmugen++ Stages (Retro) > Page 3

At some point I’m going to update that menu…just need to not allow life to interrupt that…

Anyway, enjoy the release. And let’s hope the next one don’t take almost a year to do.

Oh! Hello there, fancy meeting you here…

So you’re wondering what happened after the last stage release back in January? I needed a break. After creating 70+ Stages (there are stages that I made during the start of my career into the MUGEN community that I had up before, when I was on my old host. But I never got around to putting them on this one…yet… >_>). I didn’t want to suffer burnout, and it was getting mighty close.

So I apologize in advance for folks thinking that I fell off the face of the Earth and all. I still am creating stages, but I’m on break still. Had a lot of personal things in life to take care of, and with all the Covid stuff going on, work related things, and a host of other stuff made me put stage creation on the back burner. I have some more stages in the works, along with another collaboration with longtime friend Don Vecta of the Streets of Rage Remake Mod Scene who aided me in getting the assets for Red Light District Back Alley, Street & Moon Beach Boardwalk stages. He’s not done with the assets for the next crossover collaboration we have going. But I’ll show something once it’s ready to go. Until then, stay safe folks, and keep on enjoying MUGEN!
