This hotfix addresses issues with Tournament Mode. Here is all that has changed. Click the image above to download this update.

CONFIRMED WORKING IN v1.3b
• Fight ! on the top bar next to Play while Tournament is open (stays visible at any window size or display scaling)
• Fight launches on Ikemen GO 1.0 stable and nightly
• Drawing then Fight can start the first match (Start is optional)
• Match finished after you close Ikemen, then pick the winner
• Short Tournament command line (1.0 no longer rejects extra flags)
• Launch without requiring Administrator
• Splash logo ~3 seconds (packed inside the exe)
• Tournament format: 4, 6, 8, … 32
• Winners advance on the tree; champion fills the last box

CREDIT
YouTube user Chuiaumax4260 found and documented the Tournament Fight button vanishing on some PCs and Fight doing nothing on Ikemen GO 1.0 while Quick Versus worked. This patch exists because of those reports. Full credit to him.

HOW TO RUN TOURNAMENT
1. Place this exe next to Ikemen_GO.exe (replace the old configurator).
2. Open it, click Load All.
3. Tournament tab → pick fighters (or Random) → Drawing.
4. Click Fight ! on the top bar (or the green button in Current Match).
5. Play the match, close Ikemen, click Match finished, pick the winner.

Known Limitations
• Tournament results are not read from Ikemen GO. After Match finished, you choose the winner. Automatic detection will not be retried in this line of releases.
• Character-select portraits are not on the bracket. SFF v2 needs palettes and LZ5. Names only.
• Ikemen GO Lua modules (in-engine tournament modes and similar) cannot be translated into this Python app. Different environment; that would be a rewrite, not a patch.
• Challenge Mode is not included.
• Practice Mode is not the engine Training menu.
• Network / Netplay toggle remains disabled.

CRITICAL NOTE
On some rigs the left-column Fight button was clipped or missing while it showed on others. That was layout / scaling, not a missing feature. v1.3b puts Fight on the top bar so it cannot disappear.

Extra Note
Always click Load All before Drawing. Empty slots show “— vs —” and will not start a match. If Ikemen 1.0 still does not open from Fight, use the top-bar Fight after Load All + Drawing. Quick Versus was never the bug; Tournament command flags on 1.0 were.

• Fight starts the match; Match finished opens the winner picker
• Winners advance on the tree; champion fills the last box
• Launch without requiring Administrator

Known Limitations list updated: Tournament results are not read from Ikemen GO. After Match finished, you choose the winner. Automatic detection broke the app and will not be retried in this line of releases. The engine does not report who won. Manual pick is a hard limit.

CRITICAL NOTE: Visual Bug found on some rigs where the Fight button disappeared on some computers, while showing normally on others. This was regardless of window size change, and regardless of the default resolution. The problem was resolved due to fixing an indent string that interfered with UI elements under the Tournament Mode option and did not produce an error code, leaving inconsistent results. Credit once again goes to Chuiaumax4260 for not only finding the bug, but showing me so this problem can be resolved.

The Configurator has been updated to version 1.2.

It addresses and fixes several things. Two of which was found by YouTube user Chuiaumax4260 so credit goes to him for reporting back to me on the bugs found.

What was fixed for 1.2:

• Match was randomizing the seed order, so now it works properly based on order rules.
• Drawing for the bracket was not randomized. This has been fixed to now make sure drawing is randomized.

What is new for 1.2:

• Tournament format dropdown: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32
• All participant rows live in one scroller; Fight is not mixed in
• Drawing asks whether to randomize. No = keep list order
• First round is always bracket 1v2, 3v4, 5v6 … never 1 vs 7
• Seed by list order is on and locked
• Random toggle beside CPU: name box locks; pick comes from
  installed characters; name shows on the bracket after Drawing
• Winner names appear in the next tree column
• In-app README, Version 1.2 Changes, and Contact
• Splash Screen added at startup. Goes away on it’s own after 5 seconds.
