Chronology

First thing: Sorry for my bad english :P

 

- July, 2006

First contact with On.Off, when he shows Lucy's project and the first sprites and anims. On.Off asked me if I'd like to code her. I was impressed with his work and accepted the partnership;

 

- August, 2006

On.Off started to make the sff file;

 

- October, 2006

I've started the coding job. On.Off based his work on rough drafts so I could program simultaneously with the drawing process. He made a big text and some illustrated scripts to show me the functioning of her attacks and combos;

- November, 2006

First private beta was appeared with normal moves and three special attacks: Tournant, Lucy's Spider and Babooshka. On.Off suggested some adjusts. Later I've done the second beta and added some moves like Tournant Addons, Lucy in the Sky (including addons) and Rond de Jambe ;

 

- December, 2006

Many adjusts were done on her coding (pausetimes, damage, vels, etc) on the 3rd and 4th beta;

 

- January, 2007

Lucy won a new stance and the hypers Alcova and Balletomane were added;

- February, 2007

Lucy won new sprites and anims to her walk an strong punch. A new special move was created (Lucy's Scorpion) and the hypers Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and Samba Samba Samba were added.

- March to May, 2007

On.Off and I were very busy so just some adjusts were made... Added Super and Dream Cancels. Many adjusts on gameplay;

 

- June to July, 2007

Added portraits and some new combos. Vogue and crouch strong punch's sprites had beem modified. Juggles are revised.

- August to September, 2007

A new Super Cancel on Lucy's Spider was added after a funny bug happened with Samba Samba Samba (Samba Bugão :P):

 

 

All sprites had been finished. Her main velocities were changed. Lucy won voices, AI,  winquotes and palletes. All her basic system was revised and Lucy was finally released.

 

My Personal Notes
I think Lucy Fernandez is the most beaultiful thing that I made to Mugen. She was a big surprise to me...

On.Off really drew each sprite with passion. On.Off made Lucy's concept some years ago. All her history, moves and the first combos was created by him and I tried to put all those things on Mugen conversion.

I gave him some suggestions and we could equal our ideas about her moves and combos. The sounds were carefully chosen by me.

Many adjustments had been made during the process and after a long year she was finally done.

I lost some interest on mugen after I finished Yuri XI, but I decided to finish Lucy in consideration to On.Off. And I'm happy with the results... I don't know exactly if I'll continue making things to Mugen, but I'd Like to thank my friends Alêx, O_Ilusionista, Ironmugen, Ice & Heart, O_Experto, Li_Kun, Misamu, Juke Kisaragi, Nino, Electroccaid, Duende Macabro, Kuirai Naito and everyone who enjoyed my chars during those years (sorry, if I forgot to mention somebody...).
